Catholic Identity and Faith Infused With Learning The School Advisory Council oversees the development and implementation of the Mission Statement and Catholicity of Sacred Heart School. In addition to fundamental sacrament preparation and religious education, students have the opportunity to be actively involved in the Mass as Altar servers, ushers and lectors, or as members of the Liturgical Choir. Students recreate Christ's journey through Living Stations of the Cross and share Christ's Spirit through prayer services held at Advent and Lent and for other special intentions throughout the year. Our Pastor, Associate Pastor, Deacons, Administration, Faculty and Staff actively share the importance of faith with the students.
Safety, Structure & Discipline
Sacred Heart School is committed to maintaining a secure environment. Doors to the school are locked at all times and the main entrance is monitored and opened electronically through the main office. Security cameras monitor all gate entrances, major gathering areas and hallways to ensure security. Volunteer background checks are required. A Crisis Management Plan is on site. Sacred Heart School provides students a safe environment where behavior is directed by a Code of Conduct based on Gospel values and reflected in the Student Handbook. By consistent reinforcement, students learn appropriate Christian behavior that is adhered to both in and out of school. The CHAMPS Behavioral Program teaches students to be goal driven and respectful of self and others in a school-wide program. Our Bucket Filler Program and What Would Jesus Do Awards recognize students for their acts of kindness.
